Figures

I am not an algorithm,

But we are taught from a tender age

That our value is the sum of numbers.

Test scores, digits on a scale,

Inches around my waist and thighs,

But my figure is not a figure of numerics,

Be it single or double it is my home.

For if human value were numerical figures

Would we not all be infinite?
